Texas: online casino, sweepstakes and sports betting law
Texas offers no legal online casinos and no legal sportsbooks. Betting is a crime under Penal Code Chapter 47, with only a few exceptions: charitable bingo and raffles, pari-mutuel racing (Texas Racing Act), and the state lottery (Government Code Chapter 466). The chapter never mentions sweepstakes casinos, and we found no ban on them.
