Idaho: online casino, sweepstakes and sports betting law

Idaho writes its gambling ban into the constitution. Article III, Section 20 leaves room only for pari-mutuel betting, charity bingo and raffles, and the state lottery, so there are no legal online casinos or sportsbooks. Trackers say sweepstakes casinos are caught by the same ban, but we haven't found a law or court ruling that states it outright.

Sweepstakes casinos

Not confirmed

Idaho's general ban on gambling is read as covering sweepstakes casinos too. No statute addresses them by name, and we have not confirmed the point in a primary source.

We haven't confirmed this in the law itself yet. Reported status: restricted.
