Arkansas: online casino, sweepstakes and sports betting law
Amendment 100, passed by Arkansas voters in 2018, set up four casino licenses. The Racing Commission counts sports betting as part of casino gaming. Its rules let a Commission-approved mobile system take sports bets tied to a licensed casino, but we have not confirmed that statewide online betting is live. No law gives real-money online casinos a legal footing. For sweepstakes casinos, two 2025 felony bills (SB524, HB1861) failed, and we found no ban in force.

Sweepstakes casinos
No ban found
We found no ban in force. Two 2025 bills, SB524 and HB1861, would have made it a felony to run dual-currency online casino games. Neither became law: SB524 died when the session adjourned sine die, and its sponsor pulled HB1861. We could not read the gambling chapter of the Arkansas Code on an official site (checked 19 Oct 2026).

Online sports betting
Unverified
According to the Arkansas Racing Commission, casino gaming under Amendment 100 covers taking bets on sports. Commission rule 23 CAR 358-424 says a mobile system for sports bets needs Commission approval and may be offered to players at a licensed casino. We have not confirmed that online sports betting is live statewide.
