Arizona: online casino, sweepstakes and sports betting law

In Arizona you can bet on sports online with a licensed operator, but casino games online are off the table. The Department of Gaming licenses event wagering and keeps a public list of approved operators. A.R.S. 13-3303 treats running gambling outside regulated channels such as tribal compacts as a class 5 felony, and no state law licenses online casinos. The department has also issued cease-and-desist orders against sweepstakes sites.

Real-money online casino

Not legal

Not legal. A.R.S. 13-3303 punishes promoting gambling, as 13-3301 defines it, as a class 5 felony, with exceptions in 13-3302 for amusement, social and regulated play. Gaming that follows a tribal-state compact counts as regulated. The only online license we found in Arizona law is for event wagering (A.R.S. title 5, chapter 13), and no law allows online casino games.
