Missouri: online casino, sweepstakes and sports betting law
Missouri is new to legal sports betting. The Gaming Commission opened it to players on 1 December 2025, after voters approved it in 2024. Online casino games remain outside the law, because RSMo chapter 572 treats gambling as an offense unless it is licensed. The chapter does not mention sweepstakes casinos.

Real-money online casino
Not legal
Not legal. RSMo 572.020 makes gambling an offense. Under 572.030, setting up a gambling device or any slot machine, or taking bets, is promoting gambling in the first degree, a felony. The only play that 572.010 removes from the definition of gambling is licensed gaming under sections 313.800 to 313.840.
