North Dakota: online casino, sweepstakes and sports betting law
North Dakota keeps online gambling illegal, according to its Attorney General, with one exception for online raffles run by licensed charities. The state's five tribal casinos operate under compacts with the state. Newer compacts, signed in 2022, would let people bet online on reservation land once the federal government approves them, and we have not confirmed whether any sportsbook is live. Running a gambling business is a felony under Chapter 12.1-28, which says nothing about sweepstakes.

Restricted. The Attorney General says state law bars online gaming. Tribal casinos run under tribal-state compacts, and in December 2022 the Governor's office said new compacts allowing online sports betting within reservation boundaries were going to the Interior Department for approval. We have not confirmed that any sportsbook is taking bets.
