Georgia: online casino, sweepstakes and sports betting law
Georgia permits very little gambling. The constitution's ban covers lotteries, pari-mutuel wagering and casino gambling, and carves out only what Article I, Section II, Paragraph VIII names, such as nonprofit bingo. According to the Secretary of State, the lottery, raffles and charity bingo make up all the legal gambling, so online casinos and sportsbooks are off the table. Lawmakers floated a constitutional amendment for sports betting and casinos in Senate Resolution 131 (2025). We found no sweepstakes ban.
